Staff Overview
Anderson, Niebuhr & Associates,
Inc. is led by John (Jack) Anderson, Ph.D., and Marsha
Niebuhr, principals
and founders. They have over 35
years of experience each conducting a wide range of studies including market research, healthcare,
business-to-business, customer satisfaction, education, association, government,
and non-profit. They
are co-authors of a widely used textbook on survey research, Questionnaires:
Design and Use. They are also adjunct faculty members
with the University of Minnesota and have been
instructors for the American Marketing Association School of Marketing
Research at the University of Notre Dame.
They participate frequently in conferences sponsored by professional
organizations such as the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market
Development (SHSMD), American Marketing Association (AMA), American
Society for Quality (ASQ), and the Association for Quality and
Participation (AQP). They have been speakers at meetings of the
American Educational
Research Association (AERA), American Association of Medical Society
Executives (AAMSE), and the Alliance for Healthcare Strategy and
Marketing (AHSM). They also founded the Special Interest Group
on Survey Research,
an organization within the AERA, established to improve the methods
used to conduct survey research in education. This SIG has been in existence
for over 30 years and is still very involved in the issues
regarding
survey research.
Jack and Marsha also have more than 35 years of experience conducting
a variety of public and on-site training workshops for businesses,
associations, government agencies, school systems, colleges and
universities, and other organizations regarding research methods
and techniques.
In addition, Dr. Anderson has published research articles in
a variety of professional journals and publications, including Journal
of Marketing,
Journal of Applied Psychology, and Marketing News.
